In order to provide support for the struggle of the Indonesian Team in badminton, the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali took time to visit the PBSI Pelatnas in Cipayung on Thursday (06/02/20).
Reporting from Indosport, Sport Minister said that this visit was a form of support for the Indonesian badminton players who will compete at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and also the Asian team championships.
“Today I came to Badminton National Training and at the same time saw the extent of the readiness of our children who will depart for the championship to collect points for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics,” said Zainudin Amali.
On his visit this time, Zainudin said he was happy to see how the Indonesian Team’s badminton players performed. He saw all the athletes very excited.
“When they met with athletes, they never complained. In fact, I asked, were you ready? They said they were ready. Even at the PBSI National Training Board, they were excited,” he said.
As a result of this visit, Zainudin is now optimistic that badminton will be able to give the best performance and make the nation proud at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, as well as the Asian team championship.
