Dangdut singer Inul Daratista enlivened the auction event organized by the Indonesian Badminton Community at Grand Indonesia. In the event, the world’s badminton players from Indonesia donated their goods to be auctioned as a form of their support for the earthquake victims in Palu and Donggala, sometimes ago.
Among the participants who came, the dangdut singer from Pasuruan became a contributor with the largest nominal value. Quoted from Detiksport, Inul managed to get Jonatan Christie’s racket for Rp. 200 million rupiah. While below, Astra representatives and actress Olga Lydia donated Rp. 150 million and 120 million for the jersey Kevin Sanjaya and Liliyana Natsir.
The event held by the Indonesian Badminton Community was held at Grand Indonesia. The event was attended by players such as Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon, Liliyana Natsir, Greysia Polii, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonatan Christie. Meanwhile, 3 athletes were unable to attend, namely Hendra Setiawan, Mohammad Ahsan and Tontowi Ahmad.
In the event which was held on Saturday, November 24th, yesterday, they managed to collect about 2.148 billion. This fund was obtained after they succeeded in releasing 13 items in the form of racquets, jersey, and merchandise signed by the athletes.
