A total of 11 members in the Southeast Asian region will begin to “heat up the engine” at the prestigious soccer event, the U-22 AFF Cup Inauguration tournament in Cambodia in 2019. The AFF U-22 Cup will be held at Cambodia on February 17th to March 2nd, 2019. The Indonesian Under-22 national team will compete with its tough rivals Malaysia. In addition, in this group there are also Myanmar, Singapore and the host of Cambodia.

The Indonesian national team has historically performed at the Olympics in 1956. Meanwhile, since the Olympics soccer was followed by the U-23 national team since 1992, Indonesia has never made it. Hopefully, in the next year, it will be a match for the Indonesian national team.
