Failure to win a medal at the multi-event ASIAN Games 2018 event does not make the Indonesian bowling team feel inferior for their chances at the Philippines SEA Games 2019.
Reporting from Bolasport, Indonesia’s bowling national team coach, Thomas Tan, is optimistic that he could avenge the failure to achieve the highest achievement in public. In fact he has devised a plan to be taken into account at the Southeast Asian level.
“For us, the next is the SEA Games in the Philippines in November 2019 and preparations have begun (now). We will be better than at the Asian Games because in SEA Games the chances of getting medal is higher, “he said.
Thomas promises to improve the performance of his protégé andreluctant to repeat the mistakes that occurred at the Asian Games. Especially in the Malaysia SEA Games 2017, Indonesian bowling has successfully donated a gold medal through the Tannya Roumimpier / Sharon Liman Santoso pair in the women’s pair.
“Opportunities in SEA Games (2019) for gold medals can be achieved. “Certain and confident in the SEA Games we will get medal,” he added.
The SEA Games 2019 is scheduled to take place from November 30th to December 10th, 2019 in Manila, Philippines.
