After the struggle at the Asian Games 2018, it’s the turn of young Indonesian athletes will show off at the Youth Olympics 2018. The sporting party with the official name 2018 Summer Youth Olympics will be held on 6-18 October 2018 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The plan to depart the Indonesian contingent containing athletes aged 14-18 years is part of the regeneration of Indonesian athletes. This is the third time, Indonesia has sent its contingent to the Youth Olympics, after previously sending contingents to the same event in 2010 and 2014.
A total of 241 medals will be contested in the Summer Youth Olympics 2018. They compete in 32 sports and compete for the gold medal. In the history of Indonesia’s participation in this event, Indonesia once won 1 bronze medal in the 2010 and 2014 editions.
