National swimmer Glenn Victor Sutanto is still determined to achieve his dream of being a pure Olympian. He hopes to be able to break the limit of A Olympic qualifications. For now, at the 100 meter butterfly – style, Glenn ‘best time is 52.99 seconds, or is still in limit B.

” A Olympics Limit is 51.95 seconds, ” Glenn said as quoted by Jawa Pos.

If it can penetrate limit A, then Glenn will automatically pocket a ticket to the Tokyo Olympics, the implementation of which is postponed until the year 2021.

Until now, from the Indonesian Team there are still four swimmers entering B limit, besides Glenn there are also I Gede Siman Sudartawa, Triady Fauzi Sidiq, and Fadlan Prawira. In the 2016 Rio Olympics edition, Glenn also performed, through the wild card channel.

But this time in Tokyo, Glenn was reluctant to return to compete in the biggest sports stage in the universe through the wild card route again. He wants to get away with his own hard work as an Olympian, who can break the deadline.

Until now, there hasn’t been a single swimmer from the Indonesian Team who can penetrate Limt A. Therefore Glenn is ready to work harder. One of them is perfecting his stroke.

” Endurance too huh. Especially in the second 50 meters, ” he said.

Currently Glenn himself is concentrating on being able to improve his abilities. Moreover, beforehand FINA (International Swimming Federation) has postponed the schedule of the Aquatic World Championships in Fukuoka Japan.

’’ Good thing (postponed) so there aren’t too many events and you can focus more. Next year there will also be SEA Games, ” said Glenn.
