Baladhika Club athletes dominate the 2020 Poomsae Taekwondo National Championship

Special achievements were achieved by the taekwondo club Baladhika, South Tangerang City. Where 17 of their athletes managed to win medals at the 2020 Indonesian National Championship Poomsae Championship which was held online.

The coach of Baladhika Jaya Club, Sanim Charlie Tanod said that this result was indeed encouraging. Because of the 25 poomsae athletes sent by their clubs to the national championships, 17 of them won the title.

“Yes, Alhamdulillah, of the 25 athletes we sent to participate in the Indonesia Poomsae Championship 2020, 17 athletes won medals, namely 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 7 bronze medals,” he explained, as quoted from

Sanim explained, a virtual championship like this is very much needed by athletes, in order to keep their fighting spirit in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic that has not subsided.

“As a coach, I am very proud of the achievements achieved by the athletes of the Baladhika Club in Tangsel City in the championship which is supported by UNICEF,” especially since this championship is very prestigious because around 600 athletes from 70 Taekwondo teams from all over Indonesia have participated in it, “he said

. that 17 athletes who won medals were for the Senior category aged 18-30 yrs. for girls Devina Yulia won 2nd place and Olivia jovita Rahman as 3rd place, for the Senior category aged 18-30 yrs for boys won by Rachmat Gilang Maulana as 3rd winner, for Junior category Rakhi Dewa Kurniawan, aged 15-17 years old, won 2nd place and Javas Pratama Wibowo as 3rd winner, Zahra Khairunnisa Putri won 3rd place for Cadet category, male cadet aged 10-11 years, won by Bagaskara, kawuryan manager as the 3rd winner.

Meanwhile, for the Beginner Class, Cadet Category aged 6-7 years, the women’s festival, he said, was won by Kirana MS Hutagalung as 1st winner and Keyla Azza hra as the 1st winner, for the beginner female cadet age 8-9 category won by Rifdah Nur Mulia as the 3rd winner and Tharfia Sabania as the 1st winner, for the category of Cadets aged 10-11 yrs for female beginners won by Almira Carissa as the 1st winner, the Cadet category aged 10- Aljariz Ardias Putra won 11 years for the male novice as the 2nd winner, for the junior female Cadet Category 12-14 years old, Zakiya Neyla Mufi won the 2nd place, and the 12-14 year old male Cadet Category was won by M. Raditya Muchtar as the 1st winner, Calvine Poetranto as the 2nd winner and Raihan Ardiansyah Siregar as the 3rd winner.

“I think this is an extraordinary championship, I hope that more championships like this will be held and I hope our athletes will continue to excel,” he concluded.
