One of the PASI athletes from Banda Aceh, Fuad Ramadhan, succeeded in being the best at the Jakarta Open Athletic Championship (National Championship) which took place at the UNJ Stadium in Rawamangun, Jakarta, 18th -20th of October 2018.
The athlete with the status of the Banda Aceh STKIP BBG was successful in winning gold medal for the 400 meter run touching the finish line with a time of 49, 13 seconds. While the silver medal won by Bilal Bilano (Indonesia Muda) with a time of 50.68 seconds, and bronze achieved by Ivel Ayun (AGM) with a record time of 51.52 seconds.
Reported from Tribunnews.com, coach of BBG STKIP Sports, Zikrurrahmat appreciated the achievements of Fuad Ramadhan. According to him, Fuda’s achievements became extraordinary for the Aceh’s athletic world.
While Chairman of the STKIP BBG Lili Kasmini, appreciated the achievements of Fuad Ramadhan. He thanked the supervisors and coaches who have been developing well. A very big thank you to the athlete, who struggle so hard until he won gold.
“This is a good achievement for improving campus quality. Hopefully in the future the Banda Aceh BBG STKIP will be better and known in the national and even international domain, “said Lili.
Fuad Ramadhan, is an athlete assisted by KONI Aceh and PASI Aceh who is trained by Serka coach Firman Fachrudin. After gaining achievements at the National Open Athletics Jakarta Open 2018, the coach stated that Fuad Ramadhan will continue to undergo long-term training for XX PON preparation in Papua.
Meanwhile, for the training preparation for the Jakarta Open National Championship, the athlete underwent training for two weeks in October, before the National Championship takes place.
On the other hand, Fuad Ramadhan is not just this time making achievements in the national arena. Previously, the athlete also won a branch gold medal running 400 meters in West Java PON and Pomnas in Makassar. The work of Fuad Ramadhan started to be known in the Aceh’s athletics and national world thanks to his achievements.
Whereas in the National Open Athletics Jakarta Open 2018, participated by 17 provinces in Indonesia and 7 athletes from DKI Jakarta.
